Yak Wool Cashmere is our name for the yak’s fine undercoat: 100% yak fiber, not a blend. This fiber content applies to the felt body only, not the strap or lining.
Care Instructions
Clean less often to protect the fibers. Professional dry cleaning is recommended; washing in water may cause shrinkage.
Between uses, hang in a well-ventilated place and shake gently to release dust and odors.
Hand washing, drying & steaming
If you choose to hand wash, use cold water and shampoo. Soak for about 15 minutes, then wash gently. Press out excess water without wringing.
Gently shake out and lay flat to dry in the shade, with good airflow. Avoid direct sunlight and tumble drying. Use low-temperature steam to smooth wrinkles.
People behind
the material.
Founded in 2019 on Sangke Grassland, GHO GHO works primarily with local women whose knowledge of wool, textiles, and handwork has long been part of daily life.

From fiber
to everyday life.
GHO GHO takes its name from the gentle call herders use to comfort yaks while caring for them. The workshop brings local experience into scarves, bags, and everyday objects, creating new ways for these skills to remain in use.

Marichyai’s Perspective
We chose GHO GHO for the way its materials and workshop traditions become useful, contemporary pieces. This fringe-detail tote brings that connection into an everyday carry with a little movement and color.
